Seamus O'Toole, Senior Consultant, joined SBCG in August 2003. He has experience across industries, including financial services, high technology, retail, healthcare and real estate development. Seamus graduated from Pomona College with a BA in Mathematical Economics. Prior to joining SBCG Seamus worked as a technology consultant.

Barry Sullivan, Senior Consultant, joins SBCG from Mercer Consulting, where he worked with Boards and management on issues of executive and strategic pay. Prior to receiving his MBA from the University of Illinois, Barry operated a successful building services firm in Chicago.

Cindy Cupino, Senior Consultant, has been a consultant since 1996. Previously with Sibson & Company, Cindy has experience in executive, professional and employee compensation and performance management across several industries, including retail and private banking, professional services, and insurance. Cindy was formerly the Director of Product Development at a B-to-B ASP and B-to-C internet retailer.

Josh Mallamud, Senior Consultant, began his career in executive compensation consulting in 1994 with Watson Wyatt and later joined Sibson & Company. Prior to joining SBCG, he was an attorney with Munger, Tolles and Olson in Los Angeles. Josh holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Duke University, an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a law degree from Northwestern University School of Law.

Jeff McCutcheon, Senior Consultant, has been a human resource executive and consultant for over 20 years. Previously with Sibson & Company, he also managed his own HR consulting and investment management firm. Jeff has extensive corporate experience as the SVP, HR for CSX Corporation and as the top compensation executive with Barnett Banks, Federated Department Stores and Coca-Cola Enterprises.

David Fern, Consultant, joined SBCG in June 2005. His prior experience includes working as a forensic and litigation consultant with FTI Consulting and as a financial analyst with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Dave graduated from Pomona College with a degree in Economics.

Collin Rich, Consultant, joined SBCG in December 2005. Prior to joining the firm he worked as a researcher in a nanotechnology lab and later as an analyst at a sustainability consulting firm. Collin graduated from Haverford College with honors in physics and a minor in economics.

Sameer Bhakta, Associate Consultant, joined SBCG in 2006. Sameer graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a BA in Business Economics in June of 2005.  Prior to joining the firm, he was part of the management team responsible for the online expansion of a local hotel reservation system.

Dan Bistany, Associate Consultant, joined SBCG in July 2007. Dan graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona with degrees in Economics and Political Science and a minor in mathematics.

Kendric Blanchard, Associate Consultant, joined SBCG in July 2008. Kendric graduated from the University of Arizona with a double major in Economics and Political Science. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a research assistant for the National Bureau of Economic Research.

Jason Brooks, Associate Consultant, joined SBCG in July 2007. Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Government from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA, with emphases in Finance and Strategic Management, from the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito School of Management.

Takaya Brunner, Associate Consultant, joined SBCG in July 2007. Takaya graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a double major in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PP&E) and Economics with a Finance Sequence.

Mark Emanuel, Associate Consultant, joined SBCG in July 2007. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a minor in Economics from Harvey Mudd College, where he led a research project for Northrop Grumman Corporation.

Tiana Leeds, Associate Consultant, joined SBCG in September 2007. Tiana graduated from Pomona College with a BA in Media Studies and a minor in Economics. Prior to joining the firm, she was sponsored by Claremont McKenna College's Kravis Leadership Institute where she conducted a community needs assessment for Santa Barbara County.

Andrew Loeb, Associate Consultant, joined SBCG in July 2008. Andrew graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona with a double major in Business Economics and Corporate Entrepreneurship.

Anne McGettigan, Associate Consultant, joined SBCG in July 2008. Anne graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona with a BA in Economics with honors, Mathematics, Political Science and Spanish.

Brian Morrison, Associate Consultant, joined SBCG in July 2008. Brian graduated from Pomona College with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in Economics.

Cary Mosley, Associate Consultant, joined SBCG in July 2008. Cary graduated from Pomona College with a BA in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Economics.

Darren Ong, Associate Consultant, joined SBCG in July 2006. Prior to joining SBCG, he was executive compensation consultant with another firm in Los Angeles. Darren graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with degrees in Business-Economics and Biology and a minor in Accounting.

Elijah Ostro, Associate Consultant, joined SBCG in July 2006. Elijah graduated from the University of Arizona with dual degrees in English Literature with honors, and Business Economics. He conducted a portion of his studies at Oxford University. Prior to joining the firm, he founded and managed an IT services business.

John Shen, Associate Consultant, joined SBCG in September 2005. Prior to joining the firm, he was a compensation analyst with a consulting firm in Los Angeles. He has also worked with the Connell Group in support of the former Controller of the State of California. John was a Regent Scholar at the University of California at Los Angeles, and graduated with a degree in Business Economics and a minor in Accounting.

Angela Zhang, Associate Consultant, joined SBCG in January 2008. Prior to joining the firm, Angela worked at UBS Investment Bank. Angela graduated cum laude from Claremont McKenna College with a degree in Government.
