1,818 Russell 3000 companies have filed CEO Pay Ratio disclosures in 2018. The median of ratios filed thus far is 72:1, and the median of median employee compensation is $63,804.
To date, 1,735 Russell 3000 companies have held Say on Pay votes and ten additional companies have failed since our last report – Boingo Wireless, FleetCor Technologies, G-III Apparel Group, IMAX, LivePerson, Nabors Industries, New York Community Bancorp, Nexstar Media Group, Preferred Bank (California), and Synergy Pharmaceuticals. The current failure rate (2.4%) is 90 basis points higher than last year’s failure rate.
Four environmental (11.1%) and four social (4.3%) proposals have received greater than 50% support in 2018. 398 equity proposals have been submitted thus far in 2018. By comparison, 674 equity proposals had been submitted at the same time last year.
